Product Description
This 12 string Lyle Hummingbird Acoustic is very easy on the eyes and ears! Lyle guitars are hard to find and very popular. This guitar compares 1:1 with any Gibson acoustic from that era. Everything about it screams Gibson when you play it.
Gibson actually commissioned Lyle to make guitars in the Matsomoku factory in Japan in the 1970s. Gibson at that time was owned by the parent company Norlin. Norlin also owned a small warehouse (L.D. Heater) based in Beaverton, Oregon. L.D. Heater was the sole distributor of Lyle guitars for America. Interesting backstory for Lyle company, and its strong connection to Gibson at the time.
Condition Notes: Typical condition for 70s acoustic guitar with scratches and dents. No major chips or dents. Just a few here or there.
