The Mapex Armory Series Fusion Shell Pack combines birch and maple shell construction with Mapex SONIClear technology to deliver a balanced, versatile sound for live performance and studio recording. Finished in Ultramarine, this five-piece configuration offers a compact bass drum setup with two mounted toms, a floor tom, and a matching snare drum.

The Armory Series features 6-ply, 7.2mm birch/maple/birch hybrid shells designed to produce a strong fundamental pitch, focused attack, and warm resonance. The combination of birch and maple provides clear articulation with a full-bodied tonal response suited for a wide range of musical styles.

Mapex SONIClear bearing edges allow the drumheads to sit more evenly against the shells, improving head-to-shell contact and helping reduce unwanted frequencies. This design also makes tuning easier, particularly at lower tensions.

The SONIClear tom suspension system and floor tom feet help preserve natural shell vibration by reducing stress on the tension rods and minimizing interference with shell resonance. These features allow the drums to respond more freely while helping maintain consistent tuning.

The Fusion configuration includes a 20" bass drum, 10" and 12" mounted toms, a 14" floor tom, and a 14" x 5.5" snare drum. The Ultramarine lacquer finish completes the kit with a distinctive appearance.
