Toca Origins Series djembes are carved from a single piece of environmentally friendly plantation-grown mahogany. Each drum is lathe-turned for uniform thickness. The bowl's interior features lathe grooves and rough-surfaced carvings to eliminate overtones. Hand-selected goatskin heads and durable ropes ensure proper and long-lasting tuning.
