The Pro-Mod Series continues Charvel’s storied legacy of innovative excellence in high-performance guitar design, combining modern technology with premium features built for demanding players. Designed for fast, technical playing, the Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR M delivers powerful tone, effortless playability, and unmistakable Charvel style.
The San Dimas alder body is paired with a bolt-on maple neck reinforced by dual graphite rods to help resist bending and warping caused by environmental changes. Charvel’s Speed Neck profile is designed for lightning-fast playing and effortless position changes, while comfortably rolled fingerboard edges and an oiled neck back provide a smooth, broken-in feel.
The maple fingerboard features a 12"–16" compound radius with 22 jumbo frets, offering comfortable chording in the lower register while flattening out for fast lead work and wide bends higher up the neck. A heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick and convenient neck relief adjustments.
An HH pickup configuration features a custom Seymour Duncan Full Shred SH-10B humbucker in the bridge and a custom Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro humbucker in the neck. The Full Shred delivers crisp highs and articulate low-end response, while the Alnico II Pro provides smooth lows and soaring upper frequencies.
A 3-way blade pickup selector, master volume with push-pull coil split, and no-load tone control provide extensive tonal flexibility. The no-load tone control functions normally from positions 1 through 9, then removes itself from the circuit at position 10 for a more direct, transparent signal.
A Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo system allows for dramatic dives, pull-ups, and expressive pitch effects while maintaining tuning stability. The guitar is finished in an eye-catching Chameleon color-shifting finish with chrome hardware.
