The GA1E body is made from a combination of solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, a perfect balance of tonewoods that has been used by many throughout the history of acoustic guitars.
With dimensions of 4 5/8"(117mm) body depth, upper bout width at 11 1/2"(292mm) and lower bout width at 16"(405mm), the Grand Regals body size is perfectly in between the large Dreadnought and the more intimate Grand Concert.
