Product Description
DESCRIPTION:
In 1985, George Lynch became one of ESP’s first Signature artists with the introduction of the original Kamikaze model. Over the decades that followed, ESP and Lynch have created numerous versions of the unmistakable Kamikaze design, and the GL-200 Kami stands out as one of the most understated interpretations yet.
Finished entirely in solid Black, the GL-200 Kami delivers the aggressive performance character associated with George Lynch while offering a cleaner, more restrained visual style.
Built with bolt-on construction and a 25.5" scale length, the guitar features a basswood body and a maple neck with a Thin U profile for a fast, comfortable feel. The rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 extra-jumbo frets, while the reverse "hockey stick" headstock pays tribute to the look of the original Kamikaze.
For electronics, the GL-200 Kami pairs an ESP LH-150B humbucker in the bridge with an ESP LS-120 passive single-coil pickup in the neck, providing a versatile mix of powerful rhythm tones and clearer, more articulate neck sounds.
Additional features include a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo, LTD tuners, black hardware, and a push/pull volume control for added tonal flexibility.
