Legator X8F 8 String Electric Guitar - Magma (X8F-MG)

Product Description

Legator X8F 8-String Multi-Scale Electric Guitar – Magma (X8F-MG)

The Legator X8F is an eight-string multi-scale electric guitar designed for modern metal, progressive rock, and extended-range playing. Featuring an alder body with a solid California Buckeye Burl top, Fishman Fluence Modern active pickups, and a five-piece wenge/maple neck, the X8F combines premium construction with versatile electronics and distinctive styling.

The solid California Buckeye Burl top is infused with high-temperature colored epoxy resin, creating a unique appearance beneath the high-gloss Magma finish. The natural burl figuring and resin patterns vary between instruments, giving each guitar its own individual appearance.

The bolt-on five-piece wenge/maple neck features a smooth satin finish and a 26.5"–27.5" multi-scale design. The extended scale length provides increased tension on the lower strings for improved definition during down-tuned playing. A compound-radius roasted flamed maple fingerboard features 3mm jumbo stainless steel frets, Luminlay offset dot inlays, and Luminlay side dots for improved visibility in low-light environments.

Fishman Fluence Modern Soapbar active pickups deliver powerful output with clear note definition across the extended eight-string range. Push-pull voice selection provides access to additional pickup voicings, while the master volume control, three-way blade selector, and Tesi LED kill switch offer straightforward control and additional performance options.

The X8F is equipped with a Legator Pro fixed bridge and Legator Pro locking tuning machines with a 24:1 gear ratio for precise tuning adjustments. A carbon fiber-reinforced composite truss rod provides additional neck reinforcement, and a deluxe gig bag is included for storage and transportation.
