LTD EXL-7 Baritone Black Metal
The EXL-7 Baritone Black Metal takes LTD’s classic EX body shape and scales it up slightly to deliver excellent playing balance, a bigger visual presence, and the powerful low-end response modern metal players demand.
Built around a 27" baritone scale, the EXL-7 is designed for extended-range tuning while maintaining the string tension and definition required for aggressive rhythm work and articulate low-register playing. Its bold Black Red Burst Satin finish adds an appropriately sinister edge to the oversized EX design.
Set-thru construction provides smooth access to the upper frets, while the mahogany body and 3-piece maple neck deliver a solid, resonant foundation. The Thin "U" neck profile and Macassar ebony fingerboard offer a fast, comfortable feel, complemented by 24 Extra-Jumbo stainless steel frets for durability and precise performance.
High-performance hardware includes LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking TOM-style bridge with tailpiece. A Seymour Duncan MortalCoil 7-String 3-Voice active bridge humbucker provides a wide tonal range, with a 3-way toggle switch allowing quick selection between all three pickup voices.
