LTD EXL Black Metal
The EXL Black Metal takes LTD’s standard EX body shape and enlarges it slightly to deliver excellent playing balance, a bigger stage presence, and the powerful tone expected from a modern metal guitar.
Finished in a striking Black Red Burst Satin, the EXL Black Metal combines aggressive styling with the tonal versatility and playability ESP and LTD players expect. Its set-thru construction and 24.75" scale provide smooth access to the upper frets while offering a comfortable feel for wide bends and expressive lead work.
The mahogany body is paired with a 3-piece maple neck featuring a Thin "U" profile, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard is equipped with 24 Extra-Jumbo stainless steel frets for durability, precision, and a fast playing feel.
High-performance components include LTD locking tuners, a TonePros locking TOM-style bridge and tailpiece, and a Seymour Duncan MortalCoil 3-Voice active bridge humbucker. A 3-way voice selection toggle provides quick access to all three pickup voices for added tonal flexibility.
