LTD Phoenix-7 Baritone Black Metal
The Phoenix-7 Baritone Black Metal takes the unmistakable flowing Phoenix body shape and transforms it into a seven-string, extended-range instrument built for punishing modern metal.
With a 27" baritone scale, the Phoenix-7 is designed for aggressive down-tuning while maintaining the string tension, clarity, and definition needed for powerful low-register riffs. Its Black Red Burst Satin finish, reverse headstock, and all-black hardware give the guitar an appropriately aggressive appearance.
Neck-thru-body construction provides exceptional sustain, stability, and smooth access to the upper frets. The 3-piece mahogany neck features a Thin "U" profile and is paired with mahogany body wings and a maple cap. An unadorned Macassar ebony fingerboard with 22 Extra-Jumbo stainless steel frets provides a fast, durable playing surface.
High-performance components include LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking TOM-style bridge with string-thru-body construction. A Seymour Duncan MortalCoil 7-String 3-Voice active bridge humbucker delivers powerful, versatile tones, with a 3-way toggle providing instant access to all three pickup voices.
