Product Description
Dirty 30s Open Back Tone Ring Banjo
Like the original Montgomery Ward mail-order instruments from the first half of the century, the Dirty 30s banjos are the ideal companion for singer-songwriters, folk stylists, and traveling troubadours. The RKOH-06 is a no-fuss, open-back five-string built to get out of your way and let you make music.
A steam-bent multi-ply maple rim sits beneath a Remo FiberSkyn head, delivering that warm, dry, distinctly old-time voice that open-back players love. A traditional rolled brass tone ring adds just enough brightness and focus to keep things lively without tipping into the harder, more aggressive sound of a bluegrass resonator. A no-knot tailpiece, Vega-style armrest, maple/ebony bridge, and nickel-plated hardware round out the build. The mahogany neck has a comfortable standard profile, and the 22-fret fretboard wears simple dot inlays. It's a banjo that's ready to go wherever you go.
