Featuring Takamine's parlor-style New Yorker body, the GY93E acoustic-electric guitar delivers a focused, articulate voice in a compact and comfortable design.

The GY93E features a solid spruce top paired with black walnut sides and a striking three-piece back made from black walnut and quilted maple. This tonewood combination gives the guitar a distinctive look along with a clear, balanced acoustic response.

Its slim mahogany neck and bound laurel fingerboard with a 12" radius provide a smooth, comfortable playing feel. For amplified performance, the onboard Takamine TK-40D preamp system offers excellent control with a built-in tuner, three-band EQ, gain control, mid contour switch, notch filter, and EQ bypass switch.

Premium appointments include maple binding on the body, neck, and headstock, along with dark wood rosette and body purfling, a synthetic bone nut and split bridge saddle, abalone dot inlays, and gold die-cast tuners with black buttons.
