The Astatic PX5002 is a high performance 2 channel Class D professional power amplifier engineered for commercial installed audio, touring grade portable systems, houses of worship, education facilities, and corporate AV environments that demand greater output power without sacrificing efficiency or rack space. Built into an ultra compact 1U, 19 inch rackmount chassis, the PX5002 delivers substantially increased headroom while maintaining low weight and excellent thermal efficiency through its switch mode power supply with soft start circuitry.
Designed for maximum system flexibility, the PX5002 supports stereo, mono (parallel), and bridge operation modes, allowing it to drive a wide range of loudspeaker configurations from distributed systems to high power mono applications. Integrated peak limiting, a switchable 75 Hz low cut filter, and selectable input sensitivity help protect loudspeakers and maintain clean, distortion free output. Comprehensive protection circuitsincluding DC fault, thermal, overload, and short circuit protectionensure stable, dependable operation in continuous use and mission critical installations.
