Product Description
Swamp Dog Style-O Resonator
The RM-997E-VG takes all of the features that make the RM-997-VG one of Recording King's most beloved metal-body resonators and adds the one thing a gigging player needs: the ability to plug in.
The USA-made Fishman Nashville pickup is designed for the rigors of the road and the precision of the studio. The Nashville biscuit-style pickup captures every nuance of the cone and biscuit bridge, translating your playing with faithful, natural tone.
The distressed bell brass body and retro-inspired patina make the Swamp Dog as bold in appearance as it is in tone, honoring the raw sound of pre-war resonators and delivering gritty midrange growl and bark. Grover open-gear tuners, a bone nut, maple biscuit bridge with ebony and maple saddle, and a comfortable C-profile mahogany neck complete a build that's as road-ready as the pickup that powers it.
And like every Swamp Dog, the distressed vintage green patina is its own — no two look exactly alike. You're not buying a production finish. You're buying a one-of-a-kind instrument.
